Boscombe Valley Mystery

Circumstantial evidences can be misleading, as Holmes points sout "Circumstantial evidence can be a very tricky thing." So, Holmes starts his investigation to find out what really happened on the fateful day when young McCarthy found his father dead near the Boscombe pool. Evidences go against young McCarthy, and he himself seems reluctant to throw light on the day's events except pleading 'non-guilty'. Holmes also has to take a decision about the further course of events, as law is not only about crime and punishment, it is also about living in peace and harmony.

This is the fourth story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 'Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.'

This is the second story of 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.' Mr. Jabez Wilson meets Sherlock Holmes on a morning because he has a lost a job of transcripting the 'Encyclopedica Brittanica' after doing it for 8 weeks. His quality for begging the job offer was his brightly red-coloured hair. Holmes tells him that he has not lost anything, besides the money, he even learnt knolwedge about topics starting with A. Watson was just amazed at the sillyness of the whole situation. But Holmes thinks otherwise and visits coburg square where Mr. Wilson and his assisstant lives. The buildings of the surrounding area draws Holmes' attention and what is unearther is a big robbery plot by one criminal mastermind.

Sherlock Holmes in Assamese: Scandal In Bohemia

A Scandal in Bohemia is the first story of Sherlock Holmes as written by Arthur Conan Doyle. But, even then Holmes did not need any introduction. He was already famous from his two novles 'A Study in the Scarlet' and 'The Signs of Four.' But, in the very first story Holmes meets one who is equal to him in intellect and if the basic aim of all of Holmes' actions is considered he failes for the first time. Ironicaaly he lost his ground to a woman, Irene Adler. But, a true thinker Holmes understands that this is one lady whom he should respect..or love. Oh! Don't say that. Watson calls him a thinking machine where love is a kind of fault in the machine. So, he can not fall in love, but he can surely show admirations to the one who gave him a big defeat. But, Holmes was a true admirer of intellect and so he never ever called her by her name, he mentions her by saying 'THE WOMAN'.
